Todd R. Brown | Associate
Todd R. Brown concentrates his practice in the areas of transportation litigation, commercial litigation, and premises liability. In addition to those areas, Mr. Brown’s experience includes professional liability, oil and gas lease disputes, nursing home negligence, and appellate litigation.
Mr. Brown’s jury trial experience includes having served as lead attorney in cases involving automobile negligence, contract/residential real estate, medical malpractice, and premises liability. He also has extensive experience in compulsory arbitration, voluntary binding arbitration, and mediation. He has drafted, filed, and argued winning trial and appellate briefs in both state and federal courts.
Mr. Brown is admitted to practice before all courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, The United States Supreme Court, The Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, The Western District of Pennsylvania, and The Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is a 2001 graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, from which he graduated magna cum laude. His law school honors include having served on Law Review as Senior Articles Editor, Order of the Coif, The Maxwell DeBroff Prize for Achievement in Corporate Law, The CALI Excellence Award for the Study of Trial Advocacy, First Place (Team) and First Place (Individual) in the Murray S. Love Trial Moot Court Competition, First Place Advocate in the Gourley Moot Court Competition, Dean’s Scholarship, and Owen’s Fellowship. He earned his bachelor of arts degree from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, graduating with honors in his major field of study, philosophy.
