Joshua D. Leaver|Shareholder

Joshua D. Leaver is a shareholder who joined Pion, Nerone, Girman & Smith, P.C. in 2017.  Mr. Leaver concentrates his practice in the areas of transportation law, catastrophic loss litigation, premises liability, and general civil litigation.  In addition to litigation matters, Mr. Leaver routinely represents clients in response to investigations, citations, and administrative proceedings initiated under the authority of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and other state and federal agencies.  Mr. Leaver also serves as Advisory Legal Counsel to the Board of Directors for the Greater Northeast Motorcoach Association (GNEMA).

Mr. Leaver is admitted to practice before the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Illinois, as well as the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Western District of Pennsylvania, and the District of New Jersey.  He is also a member of the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Dauphin County Bar Associations.

Mr. Leaver was educated at the Pennsylvania State University, where he graduated magna cum laude with dual degrees from the Dickinson School of Law (J.D., 2011) and the School of Labor and Employment Relations (M.S., 2012), and was selected by his academic peers to deliver the Commencement Address on behalf of the 2011 Dickinson Graduating Class.

Mr. Leaver is a native of the Lehigh Valley and an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.
