Megan C. Zei | Shareholder

Megan C. Zei joined Pion, Nerone, Girman & Smith, P.C. in 2018 and concentrates her practice in the areas of transportation law and general civil liability litigation. She also has experience in insurance coverage litigation and construction law. Ms. Zei is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Dauphin and Cumberland County Bar Associations.

Ms. Zei represents clients in all critical stages of matters involving general civil liability.  She previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania where she successfully prosecuted multiple cases, including major felony cases, to verdict. During her time as an Assistant District Attorney, Ms. Zei gained valuable courtroom and trial experience. She began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas R. Campbell in Adams County, Pennsylvania, where she handled complex civil and criminal matters.

Ms. Zei is a 2010 graduate of Widener University School of Law – Harrisburg (now Widener University Commonwealth Law School), where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and a senior staff editor for the Widener Law Journal. Ms. Zei competed in the Jerome Prince Evidence National Moot Court Competition in Brooklyn, New York where she and her partner won the award for Best Brief. During law school, Ms. Zei worked as a legal intern for the Pennsylvania State Civil Service Commission’s Office of Hearings and Appeals. She also served as an Academic Support Fellow for Legal Methods I & II during law school.

Ms. Zei resides in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with her husband, Adam.
